The  Barbour Papers

We've finished going through "The Barbour Papers" - stacks of musty, stained old letters, notes and cards.  We found lots of interesting stories detailing the life of a local family in the early 1900s.  Unfortunately some of the papers were damaged long ago when stamps were taken by ripping the envelopes and contents.  The stories are funny and sad; informative and valuable (we found a long-forgotten dollar bill!).  Copies have been made of the most significant communications and the originals will be returned to the owners.
